Alvarez & Marsal in New York is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the M&A Services Managing Directors within the Private Equity Performance Improvement practice. This internal role partners with senior leadership to coordinate calendars, travel, expense reporting, and project work, delivering high‑quality, confidential support across multiple executives.

The role emphasizes independent initiative, strong communication, and meticulous time management in a fast‑paced consulting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as an Executive Assistant or in Business Operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in relevant field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Concur and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the M&A Services Managing Directors with calendars and travel arrangements.
• Prepare and submit expense reports and reconcile corporate cards.
• Collaborate with staff to keep teams informed of commitments and responsibilities.
• Record hours in Agresso and assist with project codes for engagement tracking.
• Prepare conflict memos and assist with vendor invoices and client invoicing.
• Assist in PPT deck prep and marketing materials for proposals and events.
• Support recruitment scheduling and coordination as needed.
