Job summary

Belmont University is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the EVP Global Strategy and Programs. The role centers on scheduling, calendar management, and robust administrative support for strategic initiatives and transformation projects.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate discretion, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced executive environment. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required; 1–3 years of relevant office experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or applicable work experience, is required.
  • 1–3 years of relevant office experience required; 4–6 years preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to respond to high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of hard work and diverse constituencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the schedule and calendar for the EVP of Global Strategy & Programs.
  • Assist in administration and budget oversight of Belmont Global initiatives.
  • Organize, prepare, and support for meetings (rooms, catering, agendas, minutes, follow-up).
  • Serve as a key contact between executives and other offices and stakeholders.
  • Perform general administrative tasks (calls, visitors, office supplies).
