Job summary

The Westin San Francisco Airport is seeking a Creative and detail-oriented Event Planning Manager to join our team. You will coordinate all aspects of events from initial planning to execution, ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience and working as a liaison between customers and hotel sales for event direction.

You will be available during events to solve problems, suggest alternatives, and manage logistics for group room blocks, catering, and billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
• 1-year food and beverage experience.
• Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts.
• Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Present a professional appearance and confidence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members.
• Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems.

Responsibilities
