Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an experienced Event Services leader to supervise staff and manage all aspects of facility operations for events. You will meet with clients to plan meetings, coordinate contractor activities, and guide event preparation according to contracts and policies.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a background in managing multi-purpose venues. Compensation includes a competitive package and benefits, with on-site work at the Regent Bank

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• Minimum of two years management-level experience coordinating events in a multi-purpose facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and oversees all facility operations related to events.
• Meets with client groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and/or events.
• Coordinates activities with service contractors for assigned meetings and/or events.
• Guides clients in preparation of events by interpreting contract provisions, policies, and procedures.
• Keeps clients informed as to status of deadline schedules and other relevant details.
• Prepares cost estimates and monitors final billing.
• Provides clear, concise, timely communication of detailed requirements to operational departments.
• Assists in scheduling operational set-ups to provide equipment or service needs.
• Monitors and supervises facility set-up when necessary.
• Assists in training Event Services staff.
• Serves as primary liaison between clients and facility departments.
• Monitors in-house events, maintaining close contact with clients and facility staff to ensure successful events.
• Follows-up on all client requests, concerns, and problems.
• Attends planning, organization and other event meetings.
