Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
• Four years of experience in event planning including logistics, project management, and budgeting.
• Two years of experience in contract negotiation or trade event execution.
• Two years of high-level hospitality experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional working relationships.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High degree of professionalism.
• Strategic thinking with ability to see the big picture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, trade shows, and other industry events from concept through completion.
• Manage event schedules, logistics, and organizational details to deliver successful and memorable experiences.
• Support business objectives by creating events that enhance client retention, increase sales opportunities, and expand brand and product awareness.
• Collaborate closely with fellow event planning team members and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
• Contribute to Yardi’s position as a leader in real estate technology by delivering high-quality events that engage clients and showcase company solutions.
