Job summary

Gemma Power Systems in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for a full-time, office-based role with periodic travel to project sites and suppliers. You will own home office procurement on assigned projects and manage strategic supplier relationships, contracts, and delivery schedules.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year engineering or supply chain degree, strong technical aptitude, and proven negotiation and vendor-management skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of procurement within EPC projects.
• Ability to read contracts, negotiate terms, and coordinate with legal/accounting.

Responsibilities

• Develop project procurement and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and track supply chain requirements.
• Lead bid reviews, prepare RFP packages, and award contracts.
• Mentor team members and ensure supplier performance throughout PO lifecycle.
