Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement for greenfield EPC projects. You will own the project procurement plan, coordinate with engineering, controls, and suppliers, and ensure alignment with schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Hybrid role based in Columbia, SC with 2–3 in-office days weekly, support for foreign or domestic suppliers, and emphasis on disciplined procurement execution across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Six+ years of procurement or project procurement in large capital or EPC projects.
• Experience in power generation, heavy industrial, or regulated capital projects.
• Hands-on life-cycle management from requisition to delivery including POs and expediting.
• Strong procurement processes knowledge and supplier management in a project environment.
• Proficiency with ERP and procurement reporting tools.
• Excellent organization and communication to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the project procurement plan aligned to schedule, budget, and milestones.
• Develop and maintain the project procurement schedule including releases and lead times.
• Manage requisitions, RFQs, POs, change orders, expediting, and delivery.
• Apply category strategies and escalate gaps to Category Management.
• Expedite long-lead equipment to protect the schedule.
• Coordinate logistics, inspections, and material receipt for on-site availability.
• Interface with engineering, controls, construction, and suppliers on procurement matters.
• Support negotiations for project scopes and change orders within authority.
• Ensure QA, export controls, domestic sourcing, and policy compliance.
