Job summary

Gemma Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for our Glastonbury, CT office. You will oversee home office procurement on assigned projects, manage supplier relationships, and lead bid, RFP, and contract activities with a focus on schedules and cost control.

Ideal candidates bring strong technical aptitude, excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, accounting, scheduling, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand materials and equipment.
• Ability to understand contracts and negotiate with suppliers.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe.
• Willing to travel ~10% of time.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and supplier relationships.
• Read EPC contracts and develop procurement plans.
• Prepare RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract documents.
• Negotiate terms, costs, and schedules with suppliers.
• Manage project procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with engineering, accounting, and legal teams.
