Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management for high-dollar requirements. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, develop value-driven strategies, and coach teams to optimize supplier performance.

The role requires five years of experience in procurement, strong negotiation and analytics, and familiarity with MS Office tools. Hybrid work is available with travel between MA/CT/NH as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of five years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience.
• Experience with purchasing, negotiating/drafting contracts, contract management.
• Desirable: Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), Six Sigma, Lean, Process or Project Mgmt. certifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive sourcing process across supplier evaluation, negotiation and contract implementation.
• Lead RFPs and high-complexity contracts and support internal partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
• Develop supplier performance metrics and SRM scorecards and monitor KPIs.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
