Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking an experienced Client Manager to lead strategic client partnership development with manufacturing and mining clients. The role focuses on managing client relationships, leading new business, and developing opportunities for clients with complex environmental programs.

Based in Minneapolis, Duluth, or Green Bay with flexible work arrangements around an office location and up to ~25% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a similar discipline.
10+ years of experience in engineering consulting services in either the public or private sector.
Prior experience in client-facing project management, including strategy, execution, scope of work and proposal development.
15+ years of experience in engineering consulting services in either the public or private sector.
Proven track record developing, retaining, and maintaining successful client relationships.

Responsibilities

Drive Sales and Business Development: leverage connections to uncover new opportunities and maintain a steady project pipeline.
Lead Proposals and Presentations: develop and deliver compelling proposals addressing client needs.
Foster Long-Term Relationships: build and maintain client loyalty and satisfaction with services.
Client Advocacy: serve as primary contact, ensuring exceptional service throughout engagement.
Strategic Selling: address client risks and stakeholder issues, positioning Foth as a trusted partner.
Collaborate for Success: work with project managers and clients from initial contact to project completion.
