Job summary

Oberlin College's Center for Information Technology is leading a campus-wide transformation to modernize enterprise systems and data-informed decision-making. The IT Business Analyst will work with departments to reimagine processes and improve data access, reporting, and user experience.

The role collaborates with teams supporting Anthology Reach, Engage, and StarRez, focusing on lifecycle management, upgrades, and end-user enablement. On-site position with cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IS, BA, or related field.
• 3+ years supporting enterprise apps or ERP platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with process mapping or data modeling.
• Experience with visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/Argos).
• Ability to translate business needs into technical configurations.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus departments to review and improve processes across enterprise apps.
• Analyze workflows to identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
• Evaluate vendor solutions and propose configurations and integrations.
• Develop and support dashboards using Power BI/Tableau/Argos; support data governance.
• Maintain data management across Anthology Reach, Engage, and StarRez.
• Serve as SME for apps and coordinate upgrades and releases.
• Provide frontline support, training, and documentation for users.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Registrar, HR, Finance, Admissions.
