Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO, is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager (Strategic Engineering Engagement Manager) to influence specification decisions for hyperscale data centers, healthcare facilities, and critical power systems across North America.

You will build trusted engineering relationships, drive specification development, and position SENS as the preferred, specified solution before projects reach procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in BD, engineering sales, or technical accounts.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
• Strong technical curiosity.
• Excellent relationship development abilities.
• Highly organized and self-directed.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North America.
• Strong CRM discipline.
• Positive, energetic, action-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated success building long-term strategic relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic engineering relationships with leaders and influencers.
• Drive specification development for SENS solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering firms to increase awareness and improve specs.
• Develop basis-of-design recommendations for projects.
• Ensure SENS products are specified over generic options.
• Provide continuing education seminars and technology briefings.
• Share market intelligence with product, marketing, and sales teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with account teams.
