Job summary

Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO seeks a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering to lead and elevate the manufacturing engineering team. You will collaborate with Production, Safety, Quality, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain to optimize processes and drive cost reductions while ensuring scalable and reliable production.

The role requires a strong engineering leadership background, expertise in DFMA/DFM, and experience with automation, test systems, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, industrialization, or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering leadership, supervisory, or project leadership experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with safety, engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team and set departmental goals.
• Oversee manufacturing processes, work instructions, test procedures, and production software.
• Drive line balancing, capacity planning, and workflow optimization for scalability.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements; manage CAPA efforts.
• Manage projects, budgets, and capital equipment with a culture of safety and continuous learning.
