Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO is seeking an experienced Manager, Application Engineering to lead a team responsible for delivering technical solutions, optimizing quoting, and enhancing the customer experience.

You will partner with sales, engineering, operations, and product management to streamline processes, reduce quote cycle times, and implement scalable tools while driving growth in industrial power conversion markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience with 1+ year in a managerial role.
• Experience improving operational processes and reducing cycle times.
• Experience working in a sales organization in a customer-facing capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of application engineers delivering technical solutions in customer environments.
• Own and improve end-to-end customer quoting and application engineering workflow.
• Identify bottlenecks and reduce quote cycle time while preserving technical accuracy.
• Develop standardized processes, templates, and engineering tools for consistency and scalability.
• Drive technologies and solutions by understanding markets to meet future needs.
• Champion lean, continuous improvement and automation across the department.
