Job summary
Stored Energy Systems LLC (SENS) in Longmont, CO is seeking a Director of Power Conversion & Energy Storage to define and execute the technology strategy for power electronics, battery systems, energy storage solutions, and related control systems that support current and future product portfolios.
You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, drive platform reuse across product families, and oversee development programs from concept through commercialization while advancing innovation,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
- 10+ years engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership.
- Experience delivering power electronics or energy storage products.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for power conversion and energy storage technologies.
- Own strategy and lifecycle management of scalable technology platforms across product families.
- Drive engineering execution for new technologies and platform enhancements.
- Oversee battery systems engineering, including BMS development and safety systems.
- Lead power electronics development with high-power conversion, digital controls, and efficiency.
- Develop technology roadmaps for power electronics and energy storage.
