Job summary

Ramboll Americas seeks an Engineering Business Development Professional - Industrial, Energy & Infrastructure to secure and grow engineering projects across the Southeast US, with emphasis on North and South Carolina. You will work with engineers to build our position with industrial manufacturers, power developers, and data center operators, driving rapid growth in a dynamic corridor.

Qualifications

BS in engineering or science and related degrees considered.
Five or more years of client-facing responsibility.
Established professional network in North or South Carolina.
Willingness to relocate to the Charlotte or Greenville area; territory role.
Experience in growth areas: energy-intensive manufacturing, data centers, or power infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Develop key accounts and markets in Ramboll's target industries across the Carolinas.
Own the Carolinas pipeline end to end and manage opportunities in Dynamics 365.
Support and grow existing accounts with potential over $100M.
Develop relationships with market groups, suppliers, and development bodies.
Advise clients on engineering and technology solutions aligned with objectives.
Prepare proposals and scopes, including budgets and cost estimates; manage client relationships.
Contribute to securing $15M of internal authorizations annually.
Travel regularly within the territory and across the Americas region.
