Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation seeks an Engineering Business Development Professional to lead Carolinas-focused growth across industrial, energy and infrastructure sectors. You will cultivate key accounts, manage the pipeline end-to-end, and collaborate with Ramboll's Environment & Health, Power Systems, Site Solutions and Air & Climate teams to cross-sell services.

The role blends business development with project contributions, requiring strong communication, regional networking, and regular travel

Qualifications

BS in engineering or science; mechanical, chemical, electrical or metallurgical preferred.
5+ years of client-facing responsibility (sales, BD, PM or consulting).
Established network in NC/SC and willingness to relocate to Charlotte/Greenville.
Experience in energy-intensive industrial manufacturing, data center development, or power infrastructure.
Ability to discuss with plant engineers and prepare a scope of work.

Responsibilities

Develop key accounts and markets in Carolinas across target industries.
Own the Carolinas pipeline end to end; manage opportunities in Dynamics 365.
Support and grow existing accounts with potential >$100M.
Develop relationships with market groups, suppliers, contractors, and economic development bodies.
Cross-sell across Ramboll service lines.
Advise clients on engineering and technology solutions.
Prepare proposals with budgets and cost estimates; manage client relationships.
Contribute to securing $15M of internal authorizations per year.
Continue education in markets like green energy, data center power, circular economy.
