Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Engineering Business Development Professional for the Carolinas, focusing on industrial, energy and infrastructure projects. You will develop key accounts, manage end-to-end pipeline, and collaborate across Ramboll’s Environment & Health, Power Systems, Site Solutions and Air & Climate teams.

The role blends business development with project work, allowing you to stay technically credible with clients while expanding Ramboll’s footprint in the Southeast.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or science or related field required.
• Five or more years of client-facing responsibility (sales, business development, PM, engineering support, or consulting).
• Established professional network in North or South Carolina; residence in the Charlotte/Greenville area.

Responsibilities

• Develop key accounts and markets in Ramboll's target industries across the Carolinas, focusing on energy-intensive industries, data centers, and power infrastructure.
• Own the Carolinas pipeline end-to-end: qualify leads, decide go/no-go, act as Tender Manager, maintain records in Dynamics 365.
• Support and grow existing accounts with potential across $100M+; build durable client relationships.
