Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation seeks an Engineering Business Development Professional to secure and develop engineering projects across the Carolinas and Southeast US. This hybrid role blends business development with targeted project work to support delivery teams in Energy & Infrastructure markets.

You will own the pipeline, engage senior clients, prepare scopes, and manage opportunities in a CRM. Residency in the Carolinas or willingness to relocate is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or science, ideally mechanical, chemical, electrical or metallurgical.
• Five or more years of client-facing responsibility.
• Established professional network in North or South Carolina.
• Direct experience in growth areas: energy intensive industrial manufacturing, data center development or power infrastructure.
• Ability to discuss with plant engineers and contribute to scope of work.

Responsibilities

• Develop key accounts and markets in Ramboll's target industries across the Carolinas.
• Own the Carolinas pipeline end to end; qualify leads and manage opportunities in Dynamics 365.
• Support and grow existing accounts with potential over $100M.
• Collaborate with Ramboll Environment & Health, Power Systems, Site Solutions and Air & Climate teams.
• Prepare proposals and work scopes with budgets and cost estimates.
