Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring commercial agreements or leading business development.
• Experience in the energy industry, power generation or infrastructure development.
• Experience building and managing external partner relationships with utilities, equipment manufacturers, or IPPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop generation solutions and standard terms to fulfill Google's data center power needs under uncertainty, aligning with priorities like speed-to-market, carbon-free energy, availability, and cost.
• Lead origination, structuring, and negotiation of power contracts with providers and utilities to procure long-lead equipment and accelerate data center capacity.
• Develop, lead, and review agreement approvals and materials with senior executives, collaborating with Engineering, Finance, and Legal.
• Support site-specific project deployment planning, monitor contracted equipment, and manage capacity allocations and reservations.
• Analyze industry trends and identify opportunities to develop simple, scalable solutions for Google's energy goals and data center needs.
