Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking an Account Executive to manage strategic relationships with our largest commercial and industrial customers in the Duncan, SC area. You will lead efforts to enhance customer satisfaction, grow earnings, and coordinate across internal teams to deliver tailored energy solutions.

The role emphasizes negotiating resolutions, understanding complex rate structures, and driving cross‑functional projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 5+ years related experience.
• In lieu of degree, 9 years related experience.
• Experience managing relationships with large and complex customers and/or key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customer organizations at multiple levels.
• Negotiate and resolve customer issues and coordinate with senior leadership as needed.
• Manage the sales process from needs assessment to solution delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities to grow earnings and promote Duke Energy tools and services.
• Support outage communications and customer service during emergency events.
