GE Vernova in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead the commercial effort for Duke Energy and other strategic accounts in our Power Transmission business. You will drive growth, manage high-stakes relationships, and align sales with service, quality, and timeliness objectives.

Operating with autonomy, you will leverage deep industry expertise to navigate complex commercial landscapes, develop innovative solutions, and influence the broader sales roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma with 8+ years experience in direct sales, business development, field service, or commercial roles within industrial/utility markets.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the power transmission or utility industry.
• Willingness to travel 20–50% to customer sites and regional offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales strategy for a defined territory, including Duke Energy, as the primary interface between customer and internal teams.
• Independently manage commercial arrangements and contracts within budgets and guidelines; negotiate terms for profitability.
• Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and develop growth strategies for accounts.
