Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an Employee Relations Partner for a 12‑month contract to advise leaders on performance management, ER issues, and organizational alignment. This hybrid/remote US role focuses on fair treatment, risk mitigation, and data-driven improvements within the People function.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ER, strong employment law knowledge, investigations experience, and excellent communication to influence stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Employee Relations experience in an HRBP or ER advisory role or as a practicing employment attorney.
• Deep knowledge of employment law, risk management, and ER investigations.
• Strong written/verbal communication and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on performance management, coaching, and employee relations.
• Handle conflicts, complaints, and behavioral issues with focus on fair treatment.
• Coach on involuntary terminations and draft mutual separation agreements.
• Collaborate with PBPs and Legal on reorganizations and role eliminations.
• Lead ER process optimization and deliver data-driven reviews.
• Promote values and workplace equity aligned with company core values.
