Job summary

tesa is seeking a Business Development Engineer to lead early-stage customer projects in Electrical Systems, collaborating with internal sales teams and partners. You will craft technical presentations, drive opportunities, and support negotiations while traveling up to 25% as needed.

You will leverage a four-year engineering degree and 5+ years in engineering, sales, or technical sales to influence decision makers and grow long-term partnerships within the vehicle design ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or higher.
• 5 years of engineering, sales, business development, or technical sales experience.
• Ability to influence complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in Electrical Systems.
• Establish a network of contacts to initiate projects with focus customers/partners.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals early in design phase.
• Track and report on business development activities toward targets.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
• Support contract negotiations and align with company goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
