Job summary

TAE Power Solutions seeks a technical leader to drive product engineering for big‑scale BESS and electrification solutions. You will own architecture, validation, and CM oversight, balancing cost, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in hardware development, strong UL certification experience, and a proven record of taking complex products to mass production. The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing

Qualifications

10+ years in product engineering, development, or manufacturing for BESS/power electronics.
Direct experience with large-scale BESS, grid services, or data center apps.
Extensive hands-on UL certifications knowledge, including system-level compliance (UL 1973, 9540, 9540A, NFPA 855).
Strong system-architecture, thermal design, validation testing background.
Proven ability to lead hardware concepts from idea to certified production.

Responsibilities

Define and own product-level system architecture for TPS BESS units and roadmap.
Translate customer/market requirements into clear specifications and targets.
Drive design decisions balancing performance, safety, manufacturability, and cost.
Lead UL certification scope, testing, and evidence management.
Manage CM oversight, tooling, and production ramp-up with clear KPIs.
Own DFM and DFx practices across development and manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration.
