Job summary

Peyton Resource Group seeks an experienced Safety Manager to oversee workplace safety programs across manufacturing and industrial operations. You will ensure OSHA compliance, conduct incident investigations, and promote a strong safety culture across multiple facilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with OSHA inspections, regulatory negotiations, and implementing EHS management systems such as VelocityEHS, driving continuous safety improvements and partnering with operations,

Qualifications

• Experience in a Safety Manager or EHS leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and regulatory interactions.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Experience implementing VelocityEHS or similar EHS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and environmental and safety standards.
• Lead OSHA inspections, regulatory negotiations, settlements, and corrective action initiatives.
• Conduct workplace incident investigations, root cause analyses, and preventive measures.
• Implement, manage, and optimize VelocityEHS or similar EHS management software.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and workplace inspections to identify hazards.
• Manage workers' compensation programs and support injury prevention initiatives.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to improve safety performance.
• Provide safety training, coaching, and guidance to employees and management.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and develop strategies to reduce incidents.
• Promote accountability and continuous improvement across multiple facilities.
