Responsibilities

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing OSHA inspections and regulatory negotiations, implementing EHS management systems such as VelocityEHS, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a Safety Manager, Safety Officer, or Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, compliance requirements, and regulatory interactions.
• Experience conducting workplace incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Experience implementing or managing VelocityEHS or comparable EHS management systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach managers, influence employees, and drive safety accountability.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex safety and compliance matters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• 5+ years of safety and environmental experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi‑site operations.
• OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, ASP, or similar safety certifications.
• Experience leading OSHA inspections, negotiations, and regulatory settlements.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation, environmental compliance, and risk management.
• Experience supporting safety initiatives across multiple facilities.
