Job summary

SIXT is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety leader to build and own the U.S. EHS program, ensuring compliance across locations and driving safety metrics.

This role partners with executives to influence thousands of frontline employees and shape the safety culture. You will manage workers' compensation programs, incident response, and environmental compliance, while delivering impactful training and audits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience with 3+ years owning multi-site programs.
• Experience in automotive, fleet, rental, logistics, or aviation ground operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Build and own EHS management system with written programs, policies, and standards.
• Ensure OSHA/state-plan compliance across U.S. locations and manage records/EMR improvement.
• Develop and implement emergency action and disaster plans (hurricane, tornado, etc.).
• Lead safety training and KPI reporting to leadership on a monthly cadence.
• Qualify contractors and vendors for on-site safety and align with group standards.
