Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Head of Environmental Health & Safety to design and lead a company-wide EHS program across manufacturing, lab, and office sites in the U.S. and internationally.

This is a hands-on leadership role to set strategy, build the program, and mentor site EHS Managers who execute day to day. You will ensure OSHA/compliance across sites, lead incident investigations and audits, and partner with Facilities, Real Estate, Security, and executive leadership to scale safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role across multiple sites.
• Deep working knowledge of OSHA and federal/state EHS regulations; experience building or scaling an EHS program.
• Experience with manufacturing, lab, or industrial environments (not office-only EHS).
• Strong cross-functional communication with Facilities, Real Estate, Security, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own EHS strategy, standards, and management system company-wide.
• Hire, manage, and develop a team of site-level EHS Managers; drive consistent program execution.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations and international jurisdictions where applicable.
• Oversee safety programs for manufacturing, lab, cleanroom, and office spaces.
• Lead incident reporting, investigation, corrective actions, and trend reporting to leadership.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness across sites and lead regulatory inspections/audits.
• Oversee hazardous materials management, industrial hygiene, and environmental programs where relevant.
• Partner with Facilities during site selection and build-out to embed EHS requirements.
• Build and deliver EHS training programs and drive a strong safety culture.
