Job summary

Eurest in the United States seeks a Safety Manager to reduce injuries and claims by delivering comprehensive safety and workers' compensation support to local units. You will lead training, conduct site visits, enforce policies, and coordinate with clients to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and proven experience in safety programs, OSHA regulations, audits, and incident investigations, with strong communication and travel readiness to support multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience implementing a variety of occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations and evaluating cost and risk factors.
• Ability to interpret and apply a variety of laws, rules and regulations.
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and compliance programs.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, and safety training.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• The Safety Manager will reduce claims and lost time injuries by providing safety and workers' compensation support to local units, including training, site visits/inspections, policy implementation, measurement, communication, and client compliance.
• Lead safety inspections and hazard assessments, and develop and administer loss prevention programs.
• Provide training to managers to follow safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment through trainings and meetings.
• Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and prepare reports for campus sites.
• Monitor workers’ compensation claim trends and coordinate return-to-work strategies.
