Job summary

SIXT US is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety leader to build and own the EHS systems across multi-site operations, from branches to fueling and detailing to ensure OSHA compliance and incident reduction. You will partner with leaders, drive KPI reporting, and develop emergency plans, training matrices, and contractor qualification programs while traveling ~40% across the US.

The role requires 7+ years of EHS experience, deep OSHA knowledge, and a builder's mindset, with CSP/ASP

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience with 3+ years owning multi-site programs.
• Automotive, fleet or aviation ground ops experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of 29 CFR 1910 and OSHA recordkeeping.
• Experience writing emergency action and disaster plans.
• Bachelor's degree in safety/science/engineering.
• CSP/ASP preferred; CHMM/CIH a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~40% across US.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus for training.

Responsibilities

• Build and own SIXT US’s EHS management system with written programs and standards.
• Ensure OSHA/state-plan compliance across all U.S. locations and manage records.
• Establish technician safety programs for lifts, lockout/tagout, PPE, and EV safety.
• Manage workers' comp program with HR, claims reviews, and return-to-work.
• Develop site emergency action and disaster plans and conduct drills.
• Deliver a safety training matrix and lead branch safety audits with KPI reporting.
