Job summary

OTC Industrial is seeking a Safety Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs across Integrated facilities management operations. The role ensures OSHA, EPA, NFPA compliance and drives continuous safety improvements at client locations and shop/field environments.

You will develop safety training, investigate incidents, and partner with operations to reduce risk while fostering a strong safety culture across all locations. Remote work supported with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of progressive EHS experience in industrial manufacturing, facilities management, construction services, maintenance operations, or field service environments.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership, project leadership, or multi-site responsibility preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification required.
• CSP/ASP/CHST/OHST or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations across multiple safety domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs across IFM operations and customer locations.
• Conduct safety audits and hazard assessments in shop and field environments.
• Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA and related regulations.
• Manage EHS recordkeeping, incident reporting, and metrics.
• Deliver safety training programs including LOTO, electrical safety, NFPA 70E, and PPE usage.
• Investigate incidents and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Champion onsite safety committees and safety engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate safety across facilities maintenance and contractor activities.
• Support emergency response plans and site safety improvements.
