Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to lead our corrugated facility. You will partner with front-line leadership to develop and mentor the production team on environmental, health and safety.

Responsibilities include managing environmental permits, driving EHS programs, and fostering ownership across the site. Relocation assistance is available to the Sheboygan area. This role reports to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an related field or significant EHS leadership experience.
• Experience with OSHA regulations, compliance standards, and conducting training.
• Skilled in conducting incident investigations and performing root cause analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide transformational leadership and direction to achieve the EHS vision through management commitment and employee ownership.
• Prepare and manage environmental permits and EHS reports, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Foster ownership and accountability by guiding EHS decision rights across the site.
• Develop and lead risk assessment methods to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Ensure change management processes adapt to evolving EHS standards and practices.
• Partner with facility leadership to set EHS objectives and form a safety committee.
