Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Jonestown, PA is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to provide leadership and presence at our corrugated facility. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the EHS Manager builds partnerships with front-line leadership to develop and mentor the production team on environmental, health and safety.

The role drives EHS programs, risk assessment, permits, training, and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance and a strong safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or 2+ years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
• Experience developing and implementing EHS programs aligned to enterprise plans.
• Experience with environmental permitting or reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide transformational leadership and direction to achieve the EHS vision.
• Develop and align facility EHS programs according to the enterprise EHS plan.
• Prepare environmental permits and EHS reports.
• Foster an environment where employees understand and exercise their EHS rights and responsibilities.
• Lead risk assessment methods for hazard identification and reduction.
• Drive safe behaviors and change management processes at the site.
