Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Downstream Planning Leader to steer Master Production Plan (MPP) execution, capacity planning, and downstream supply activities. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to improve lead times and plant performance while balancing customer service against capacity constraints.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP preferred), and strong analytical and communication skills to drive end-to-end planning excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Master Production Plan (MPP) to align demand, capacity, and priorities.
• Monitor production flow, schedule attainment, and downstream performance.
• Analyze capacity, workload, inventory, and metrics to identify risks.
• Lead value stream mapping and lead-time reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, quality, and customer service to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and service levels.
• Provide functional leadership and guidance on planning processes.
• Support inventory optimization while balancing customer service and constraints.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes without direct authority.
