Job summary

Flowserve US Inc is seeking an experienced MRP Planner to translate the master schedule into executable material and capacity plans, ensuring on-time production and customer delivery. You will collaborate with Buyers, Production Controllers, Manufacturing, and SSRs to mitigate shortages, review ERP data, manage lead times, safety stock, and capacity, and drive recovery actions when constraints arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of material planning, MRP planning, production control, or supply chain operations experience.
• Experience using ERP systems to manage material requirements, inventory, purchase orders, and supplier commitments.
• Knowledge of MRP, inventory management, capacity planning, and supply-demand balancing principles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with ERP reporting tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross‑functional manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage material readiness and shipment forecasts to support production execution and delivery performance.
• Review MRP outputs, inventory positions, supplier commitments, and planning exceptions to mitigate risks.
• Evaluate material and capacity readiness and coordinate recovery actions to support work orders and production.
• Lead shortage management and coordinate recovery for material, supplier, and capacity constraints.
• Partner with Buyers, Production Controllers, Manufacturing, and SSRs to resolve shortages and delays.
• Monitor and communicate risks impacting schedules, commitments, or inventory performance.
• Maintain planning data in the ERP system (lead times, order policies, safety stock).
• Support inventory accuracy, engineering changes, new product introductions, and supplier transitions.
• Participate in SIOP and operational reviews, providing visibility into material and capacity risks.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce shortages and scheduling disruptions.
