Job summary

Mystic Seaport is seeking a Donor Engagement Manager to advance fundraising through donor stewardship, prospect research, and data management. You will collaborate with the Advancement team under the Director of Annual Fund and Membership to strengthen donor relations.

Responsibilities include creating a stewardship program, preparing donor profiles, generating reports, and coordinating events. You will manage Tessitura CRM and other tools, analyze giving trends, and serve as a communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hands-on administrative donor-related experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information and ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Strong prospect research skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Tessitura and/or Prospect2 preferred).
• Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a donor stewardship program with scheduled, tracked outreach.
• Prepare research reports and profiles to support leadership and officers.
• Provide in-depth donor profiles and summaries for major solicitations and boards.
• Attend weekly prospect meetings with gift officers.
• Generate reports, donor lists, and mailing lists as needed.
• Maintain accurate donor data tracking and cultivation activities.
• Analyze donor data to identify trends and ROI metrics.
• Collaborate on Board reports and Annual Report donor lists.
• Coordinate stewardship events and provide administrative support.
