Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Distribution Engineering Design coordinator to plan, schedule, and manage customer-requested work and day-to-day design activities. You will allocate designers by geographic area, monitor calendars, and coordinate with field teams to meet service dates.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 2 years of distribution experience, and familiarity with Maximo and CCS. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills; analytical abilities.
• Experience scheduling resources for maintenance and construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database applications.
• Knowledge of Maximo, GDT, AMFM DFM, Storm Assist, Power BI, CCS and distribution line work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage distribution design work and tasks.
• Coordinate with customers to gather design information and schedule appointments.
• Manage design resources by area and assign designers accordingly.
• Monitor calendars and communicate assignments to designers.
• Interface with Network Line groups to meet service dates and special requests.
• Identify root causes of complaints and maintain knowledge of Maximo as it relates to construction.
• Review Maximo backlogs and recommend improvements; support storm restoration efforts.
