Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our talented team.

The position will be onsite and involve meeting with customers to determine electric needs and requirements, and to design jobs to install, replace, or remove distribution facilities to support customer requests, reliability projects, or infrastructure improvement. Responsibilities include managing multiple distribution projects for new residential and commercial customers, estimating costs, preparing construction

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or technical diploma).
4-7 years of experience in utility design and field practices.
Proven ability to manage multiple distribution projects for residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple distribution projects for new residential and commercial customers.
Meet with customers to determine service needs and design overhead/underground extensions.
Estimate costs, prepare construction drawings, and coordinate construction commitments.
Lead pre-design and pre-construction meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide engineering calculations (load studies, fault current, voltage drop) for planning and improvements.
Assist Right of Way with permits and ROW documents.
