Waste Pro USA Inc. in Arkansas is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate driver communications, respond to service orders, schedule routes, and resolve route issues. The role focuses on efficient routing and customer satisfaction in an office setting.

You will assign routes, monitor daily schedules, enter data into systems, and provide timely information to drivers and Customer Service. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 months of related work experience.
• Experience in waste, transportation, or logistics is preferred.
• Customer service experience in a call center environment preferred.
• Good telephone and 2-way radio skills; ability to interact with customers professionally.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and typing skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base, dispatching drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, drivers' locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and speed of response.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers throughout the day; close service tickets each day.
• Plan, distribute, monitor and follow-up daily route assignments for drivers to ensure customers are serviced per Waste Pro standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pick-up problems; communicate with drivers and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Answer incoming calls from Customer Service and provide requested route information; coordinate with Sales and Supervisors.
• Enter customer information into databases and close work orders from previous day routes.
• Maintain data in systems: verify dump tickets, update Tower/Trackese, and manage driver/route data.
• Print and review productivity reports; distribute to route supervisors.
