Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate daily routing for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers. You will communicate with drivers, balance cost and speed of response, assign routes, and respond to service orders to ensure timely service.

In this on-site role in Fort Myers, FL, you will maintain driver contact, manage tickets and data entry, support Customer Service, and collaborate with supervisors to optimize routing and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience in waste, transportation, or logistics is a plus.
• Strong telephone and two-way radio skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and fast typist.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base, dispatching to calls as received.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers and close tickets daily.
• Plan daily route assignments for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery/pickup problems and communicate with drivers and customers.
• Handle incoming calls from Customer Service and provide route information.
• Enter and verify data in systems and print productivity reports for supervisors.
