Job summary

Atlanta Mission is seeking a Director of Institutional Partnerships to lead its institutional fundraising portfolio, including foundation, corporate, and government funding. You will translate strategic needs into revenue plans, build a high-performing team, and steward the Mission's top strategic relationships.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of progressive institutional fundraising experience across foundation, corporate, and government relations.
• Proven track record in grant writing, proposal development, and complex funder relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills with pipeline forecasting and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent strategic thinking, project management, and relationship-building with executive funders.

Responsibilities

• Maintains strategic-level oversight of the department and sets annual revenue goals across foundation, corporate, and government funding streams.
• Builds the annual grant and sponsorship pipeline and owns the prospecting framework and evaluation criteria.
• Personally cultivates and steward a caseload of top-tier accounts and collaborates with CEO/CDO on major partnerships.
• Directs budget, resources, and cross-department collaboration to align fundraising with programmatic priorities.
