Job summary

Planned Parenthood Southeast, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager for Institutional Giving to lead and expand the program in the Metro Atlanta area.

You will oversee fundraising through foundations and corporate giving, partner with senior management, and drive proposals and reporting efforts. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to build a robust Institutional Giving program.
  • Develop and implement an annual institutional giving strategy. Identify, evaluate, and qualify new opportunities that align with priorities.
  • Maintain relationship records through Salesforce and AmpliFund.
  • Draft institutional donor materials, including proposals and reports.
  • Monitor grant compliance, deadlines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with program and finance staff to ensure accurate implementation and reporting of grant-funded activities.
  • Forecast institutional giving revenue and assist with budgeting and financial planning.
  • Collect outcomes data to support proposals, reports, and storytelling.
  • Provide briefing materials and talking points for meetings with funders.

Job description

Job Title: Sr. Manager for Institutional Giving

Location: Metro Atlanta

Reports To: Chief Partnerships Officer

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary: $102,700 - $110,000

SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Chief Partnerships Officer, and in collaboration with senior management, the Sr. Manager, Institutional Giving has direct oversight of the Institutional Giving program including the management and generation of funds through philanthropic and family foundations, and corporate giving. This role is responsible for prospecting, researching, writing proposals, and reporting.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  11. If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid GA driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of GA vehicle code are required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.

  2. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a successful Institutional Giving program

  3. Proficiency in Google Workspace, SalesForce, and AmpliFund preferred

Essential Duties
  1. Collaborate with senior management to build and maintain a strategic and robust Institutional Giving program.

  2. Develop and implement an annual institutional giving strategy to grow foundation and government funding. Identify, evaluate, and qualify new institutional funding opportunities that align with organizational priorities.

  3. Maintain relationship records through Salesforce, in electronic files, and AmpliFund

  4. Conduct research and build relationships with existing and prospective funders moving toward solicitation.

  5. Work with Patient Services, Community Education, Human Resources, Finance and other departments to develop compelling program narratives and goals that service the organization and meet funder requirements.

  6. Independently draft institutional donor materials, including proposals, reports, meeting memos, background documents, and other documentation as necessary.

  7. Monitor grant compliance to ensure adherence to funder requirements, reporting deadlines, budgets, and deliverables.

  8. Coordinate with program and finance staff to ensure accurate implementation and reporting of grant-funded activities.

  9. Maintain accurate institutional giving revenue forecasts and assist with annual budgeting and financial planning.

  10. Collect program outcomes and impact data to support competitive proposals, reports, and organizational storytelling.

  11. Gather, analyze, and synthesize finance reports and budgetary information in collaboration with Finance Department to use in grant proposals and reports.

  12. Project, track, and report to senior management weekly and monthly progress and projections toward all Institutional Giving program goals and revenue targets.

  13. Advise and support the President/CEO, Chief Partnerships Officer Health Center staff and Board members with briefing materials and talking points for meetings with institutional funders.

  14. Ensure that grant proposals and contracts are reviewed by senior management and signed by the President/CEO.

  15. Establish a grants calendar to effectively track funds through the donor cycle and ensure accuracy in timelines of proposals, reports, and deliverables.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Partnership Officer.
