Job summary

Atlanta Mission seeks a senior leader to direct institutional fundraising, overseeing foundation, corporate, and government funding strategies. You will guide the annual revenue plan and manage a robust grant pipeline, aligning donor relationships with program priorities and executive leadership.

You will lead a team including a Partnerships Manager, Government Compliance Officer, and Grant Writer, while collaborating with IT to strengthen fundraising systems and reporting.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive institutional fundraising across foundation, corporate, and government funding.
• Proven grant writing, proposal development, and complex funder relationship management.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities and capability to represent the organization to executive funders.
• Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Desire to work in a Christian ministry and serve those experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Maintains strategic oversight of the department and sets annual revenue goals.
• Builds the annual grant and sponsorship pipeline toward $30M by 2030 and oversees execution.
• Owns analytics and forecasting for the department and reports on performance.
• Personally cultivates key accounts and collaborates with CEO/CDO on partnerships.
• Leads and develops the Partnerships Manager, Government Compliance Officer, and Grant Writer.
• Collaborates cross-departmentally to align fundraising with program priorities.
• Oversees systems and infrastructure, including Salesforce for moves management and reporting.
