Job summary

Wor-Wic Community College is recruiting a Director of Workforce and Apprenticeship Pathways to lead and grow the Center for Workforce and Apprenticeship Pathways. The role centers on developing healthcare apprenticeships, building employer partnerships, and expanding career pathways to meet regional needs.

The position oversees program operations, grant administration, and staff; travel within the service area and some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Master’s degree preferred; supervisory experience valued.
• Experience with data analysis, grant and budget administration, workforce partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and administration of apprenticeship programs.
• Direct healthcare apprenticeship initiatives and establish sustainable models.
• Expand apprenticeship pathways into additional sectors via labor market analysis.
• Build and manage partnerships with employers, industry groups, and agencies.
• Oversee grant-funded programs, budgets, compliance, and reporting.
• Supervise staff and optimize operations of the Center for Workforce and Apprenticeship Pathways.
• Direct apprentice recruitment, onboarding and support services.
• Analyze performance data and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
