Job summary

Wor-Wic Community College seeks a director to lead the Center for Workforce and Apprenticeship Pathways, with first-year focus on healthcare apprenticeships. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in a related field.
• Experience with data analysis, grant and budget administration, workforce partnerships, strategic planning, assessment and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, public speaking, facilitation, planning, organizational, analytical and project management skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across the college service area.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and administration of registered apprenticeship programs and related policies.
• Direct healthcare apprenticeship initiatives and career pathways to meet regional needs.
• Expand apprenticeship pathways into additional industries through workforce analysis and planning.
• Cultivate partnerships with employers, workforce, economic development, and educational partners; convene advisory bodies.
• Oversee grant-funded initiatives, budgets, compliance, and reporting; maintain audit-ready records.
• Supervise staff; establish workflows and center operations for the Pathways Center.
• Direct apprentice recruitment, onboarding, retention and support activities; coordinate outreach.
• Analyze performance data and stakeholder feedback; implement continuous quality improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
