Syneos Health is seeking a Director-level professional to lead the Epidemiology Pipeline in Virology. The role provides scientific oversight across global projects, collaborates with RWLP management, and drives proposals, analyses, and safety reporting.

Qualifications

• SME in Virology Clinical Trials.
• 2nd item in HTML: graduate degree in Epidemiology/Statistics/Public Health; Masters preferred; Doctorate preferred.
• Familiarity with multiple study designs and post-marketing/late-phase guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of SAS, R, Python programming.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight of selected projects and ensure timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
• Oversee study start-up and ongoing study management with project managers.
• Develop and peer-review essential study documents (protocols, CRFs, SAPs).
• Facilitate scientific advisory boards and produce scientific reports or manuscripts.
• Stay current with clinical and epidemiological guidelines and develop trainings.
• Collaborate across functions to develop business opportunities in post-marketing safety and risk management.
