Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to shape scientific strategy across late-stage virology programs. You will provide SME oversight, develop study designs, and lead the preparation of protocols, SAPs, and safety reports with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with RWLP leadership and business development to win opportunities, ensure timelines and budgets are met, and mentor junior staff while advancing epidemiologic methods and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Masters preferred Doctorate.
• In-depth knowledge of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase studies.
• Basic knowledge of statistical programming languages (SAS, R, Python).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong teamwork and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall scientific oversight of selected projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and satisfaction.
• Oversees study start-up and ongoing management; develops study documents (protocol, CRFs, SAPs, reports).
• Leads scientific advisory boards for safety studies and produces manuscripts/presentations.
• Develops trainings on epidemiologic designs and regulatory expectations for RWLP/Company.
• Collaborates across the organization to win global opportunities and improve processes.
