Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a seasoned leader to direct the Epidemiology Pipeline for Virology therapeutic areas. The role oversees scientific strategy, trial design, and cross-functional collaboration with RWLP management and operations to deliver innovative epidemiologic solutions.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree in epidemiology or public health, with expertise in study designs and a track record in post-marketing security commitments and risk management.

Qualifications

• SME in Virology Clinical Trials.
• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Masters or Doctorate preferred.
• Familiarity with a variety of study designs; post-marketing and late phase design knowledge preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SAS, R, Python; strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides scientific oversight of selected projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversees study start-up and ongoing management with the project manager; develops and peer-reviews protocols, CRFs, SAPs, and reports.
• Leads scientific advisory boards for safety studies and produces reports/manuscripts/abstracts.
• Develops trainings on epidemiologic study designs and guidelines for RWLP/Company.
• Builds organizational capacity and improves processes for non-traditional site management and RWLP SOPs.
• Develops abstracts and authorship of publications to promote company services.
