Job summary

Syneos Health seeks a Director of Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to lead scientific oversight across global virology projects. You will coordinate start-up activities, develop study documents, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables while advancing RWLP capabilities.

The role requires SME-level expertise in Virology Clinical Trials, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate complex results to stakeholders. This is a senior, high-impact position within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• SME in Virology Clinical Trials
• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Doctorate preferred
• In-depth knowledge of study designs; post-marketing/late phase experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of SAS, R, or Python

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight of selected projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with RWLP management to oversee study start-up and ongoing management; develop protocols, CRFs, SAPs, study reports.
• Develop abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts to promote company services and scientific capabilities.
• Lead peer-review of essential study documents and facilitate scientific advisory boards for safety studies.
